“ | One two-dee three... | „ |
12D3 is a song by Gorillaz and the fourth & final track from the band's debut extended play, Tomorrow Comes Today. It was also later featured as the tenth track on the band's first b-sides compilation album, G-Sides (ninth track on the Brazilian and US American releases).
Information[]
The song mostly consists of an acoustic guitar riff with quiet ambient synthesizers and minimal percussion with lo-fi production. 2-D's vocals are soft, simple and repeated across most of it. Other instruments are also present, such as an electric guitar part and a jaunty piano riff towards the chorus. Murdoc does not seem to be present on this track.
It was also included as a bonus track on the AVCD Limited Edition of the band's self-titled debut album, released only in the Philippines, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
