Mike Robinson

Mike Robinson is a web-designer and a former member of Zombie Flesh Eaters.

Role in Gorillaz[]

Robinson was a key force in creating elements of Gorillaz' web site, the flash-based Kong Studios, including many of the Flash and Shockwave games that can be found on the website, as well as the band member computers.

Biography[]

Mike Robinson spent 9 years as Head of Technical and Web Designer at Zombie Flesh Eaters, overseeing technical elements of various projects by Jamie Hewlett and Damon Albarn, such as the Demon Lamp, Monkey: Journey To The West and many Gorillaz games and campaigns. Mike was also the gameplay programmer on the videogame Hohokum and founded the videogame studio Rekim, developing the game Pool Panic with animator and illustrator Angus Dick and later becoming a gameplay developer on the game Over The Alps.

  • During an interview with FUSE, Jamie Hewlett suggested that Robinson is sometimes called "Fluffy"
