Gabriel Wallace is an English drummer and former member of the Gorillaz live band.
Role in Gorillaz
Gabriel provided the drums for the tracks Welcome to the World of the Plastic Beach, Rhinestone Eyes, Superfast Jellyfish, Some Kind of Nature, Sweepstakes, Pirate Jet and Pirate's Progress from the band's third studio album, Plastic Beach. After that, he joined the Gorillaz live band as a drummer, in which he stayed from 2010 to 2018. He performed in the Escape to Plastic Beach World Tour, the Humanz Tour and The Now Now Tour as the lead drummer and percussionist. In addition, he also partook in the seventh episode of the Things I Like by Russel Hobbs podcast, released on 30 May 2018.
On the 2nd of August 2020, Gorillaz removed him from their lineup after allegations of sexual assault against him were brought to the band's attention on social media. He has since been replaced with Femi Koleoso.
