Vivir Mata ("Life Kills") is a film that the soundtrack of features "Latin Simone" (the version with vocals provided by Damon Albarn). Neither the film nor the soundtrack had a release outside Latin America, although the DVD of the film was released in 2004 in the US. The film is a romantic comedy, with the main characters being a female radio traffic report presenter and a man who models novelty items such as fake vomit. The soundtrack features a variety of Latin American acts. A promo CD circulated in Latin America featuring just "Latin Simone", which was the film's main theme.
